© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, 10 September 2009 Kenneth Lee Langham Funeral service for Kenneth Lee Langham, 85, of Rush Springs, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2009 at The Southern Baptist Church of Rush Springs. Kenneth Lee Langham was born May 19, 1924 in Durant, Oklahoma the son of Curtis and Hazel Bell [Blalock] Langham. He died September 8, 2009 at his home in Rush Springs. He moved to Rush Springs December 27, 1959. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in the oilfield and retired at the age of 60. He was an avid cook and gardener. Kenneth and Nora Lee Maddox were married August 8, 1949, and she preceded him in death December 25, 1997. He then married Melba Rose November 14, 1998, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He was also preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters: Louise Langham and Waynetta McCowan. Survivors include: wife: Melba Langham of the home; three sons: Gary Langham and wife, Rhonda, Lindell Langham and wife, Darlene, Dennis Langham and wife Phyliss; grandchildren: Sarah Moon, Dustin Langham, Travis Langham, Angie Brown, Candi Langham; great grandchildren: Montana Bee Moon, Miana Faye Moon, Trinity Weese and Dalton Bickerstaff; three brothers: Bob Langham and wife, Ethel, C.L. Langham and wife, Kay, Jerry Langham and wife, Sarah; a sister: Ela Ruth Tinsley and husband, Gary; step-children: Opie Chaney and husband, Jim; Helen Ratcliff and husband, GregWA Rose; step-grandchild: Crystal Tidball and husband, Stu;, Crissy Johnson, Misty Pennick and husband, Jeremiah; numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
