© Marlow Review Marlow, Oklahoma April 10, 2003. Dennis Vance Kinnard Jr Rush Springs resident Dennis Vance Kinnard 73, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the First United Methodist Church in Rush Springs with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial was held in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel. Born May 25, 1929, to Dennis Sr and Clyde [Tedder] Kinnard in Tweetie, Texas. He had lived most of his life in Rush Springs. Kinnard graduated from Rush Springs High School and served in the U.S. Army and retired from working in the oil field. On August 9, 1949, he married Billie Jo Kinnard in Henrietta, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivors in addition to his wife Billie Jo of the home, include a sister Phyllis Johnson of Wylie, TX; and a brother Gordon Kinnard of Rush Springs. Serving as pallbearers were Harold Duke; Leon Burgess; Jerry Stewart; Conn Goodwin; Roland Nee; and Ocie Davis. |
