- Orece Belle [Strickler] Henderson Orece Belle Henderson, 84, died Wednesday, November 24, 1999 in Lake Meadow Care Center in Justin, Texas. Graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 27 in Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. A family member officiated. Mrs Henderson was born February 26, 1915 in Bokchito, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Strickler and Susie Cynthia [Richardson] Strickler. She was married to Hugh Leo "Sock" Henderson in Lawton on November 21, 1933. He died March 18, 1984. She had lived most of her life in Rush Springs and Sterling communities. She attend schools at Rush Springs and Sterling. She was a housewife and farmed with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Lavon Henderson. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Henderson of Lewisville, Texas, and Janis Golden of Marlow; five grandchildren, Lori Ramos of Denton Texas, Kara Mauldin of Lewisville, Texas, Johnna Rene VanBriggle of Little Elm, Texas, Larry Golden of Rush Springs and Haylee Golden of Oklahoma City; one brother A.C. Strickler of Rush Springs; and one sister, Thelma Hinch of Oklahoma City. |
