Javan Pauline [Bratcher] Headley

Javan Pauline Headley, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Duncan at the age of 89. Javan was born Friday, April 6, 1928 in Rush Springs, to Dewey Wesley and Bessie Mae [Southerland] Bratcher.

She attended the Spurling and Rush Springs Schools throughout growing up.

Javan married Clyde Headley on January 1, 1950 in Marietta and returned back to Rush Springs to make that their home until 1989 when they moved to Duncan.

Javan was a family woman that loved her family more than anything, spend time with kids and grandkids and having large holiday gathering made her heart happy. She enjoyed baking for loved ones, sewing and gardening.

Javan was a great woman of prayer and was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronnie Headley, a daughter, Judy Bortell, 2 brothers, L.G. Bratcher, Gene Bratcher, and a sister, Mae Ellen Dalrymple.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Bethel Assembly of God, with Rev. Darren Pilcher and Rev. Ron Meador officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery.
