Edgie James Grasham

Funeral for Edgie James Graham, 82, will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1988, in the Church of Christ, Rush Springs, with Bryon Denman and James Gravelle officiating.

He was born Oct. 12, 1906, in Gorman, Texas, and died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1988, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

He was married Feb. 11, 1933, in Chickasha to Annie Shotts.

He had lived in Rush Springs for 66 years and was a farmer.

He was a member of the Church of Christ in Rush Springs.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Graham of the home at Rush Springs; two sons, Sterling Graham of Friona, Texas, and Derrell Graham of Richardson, Texas; one daughter, Rose Ann Shaw of Rush Springs; one brother, Doy Graham of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Helen Sheppard of Solon, Iowa; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel, Rush Springs.

The family suggests contribution to the American Cancer Society.

Anna Jane "Annie" [Shotts] Graham

RUSH SPRINGS - Annie J. Graham, 89, of Marlow died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, in West Wind Assisted Living Center in Marlow.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of Christ in Rush Springs with Cliff Werhan officiating. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Rush Springs.

Annie J. was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Frederick to Jud and Beatrice Bentley Shotts. She married Edgie Graham on Feb. 11, 1933, in Rush Springs. He preceded her in death in December 1988.

She was a homemaker and lived in Rush Springs and Marlow areas since she was 1 year old. She loved to sew and enjoyed yard work and growing flowers.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Pat Graham of Gorman, Texas, and Sterling and Joy Graham of Friona, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Rose Ann and Bobby Shaw of Rush Springs; a brother-in-law, W.D. Graham; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers; and two sisters.
