December 2010 Arnold Junior Freeman Funeral services for Arnold Junior Freeman, 68, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, in the Full Gospel Church at 722 N. 10th Street in Chickasha. Arnold Junior Freeman was born June 1, 1942, in Chickasha, the son of Reverend Fred Arnold Freeman and Carmie Pate Freeman. He died Monday, December 27, 2010 in Chickasha. Arnold "Pop" Freeman grew up in Chickasha with Reverend R.L. Freeman and two sisters, Sharon and Kathy. He attended Chickasha Schools through the tenth grade. He married Linda Largent Carpenter, of twenty-three years on April 29, 1961. To this union three daughters were born, Rhonda, Trina, and Loretta. Arnold later married Marilyn "Micki" Bentley, of seventeen years on July 26, 1984. Marilyn had two daughters Christie and Kellie. He retired from Delta Faucet. His employment throughout his life also included; Fred Jones of Oklahoma City, Chickasha Mobile Homes, Chickasha Mfg., U.S. Postal Service, Stegal Oil, and was also the owner of Madden Portable Buildings. Arnold (Pop) was known as a loving, caring man that enjoyed his family and friends. He was known as "Pop" because of his warm and loving personality. "Pop" enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, building and driving dune buggies. He also had a gift for decorative wood work. "Pop's" enjoyed watching sports of any kind, but his true spirit and love for O.U. always shone through. "Pop" loved his family with all his heart, but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior. Arnold Freeman was a member of the Full Gospel Church. He will be missed by all that knew him. Arnold was preceded in death by both parents, wife Marilyn, step-daughter Christie, grandson Steven Goff, granddaughter Maranda Gray, father-in-law, Herb Haston, and mother-in-law Bonnie Haston and sister-in-law Jo Freeman. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Jimmy Gray of Chickasha, Trina and Tim Kyllo of Clackamas, Oregon, and Loretta and J.T. Post of Chickasha; daughter Kellie Lewis of Tuttle; brother and sister-in-law Reverend R.L. and Donna Freeman of Cement; two sisters and brothers-in-law Sharon and William Zearl Simpson of Chickasha and Kathy and Reverend Roger Comstock of Arapaho; son-in-law Scott Stevens of Tuttle; brother-in-law John Bentley and wife Donna; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews many friends and loved ones. Interment will be in the Rush Springs cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |

Marilyn Freeman was born November 20, 1946, the daughter of Raymond Bentley and Bonnie Markham Bentley. She died July 12, 2002, in Oklahoma City. Marilyn graduated from Rush Springs High School. She was later employed by Delta Faucet in Chickasha, where she worked for 22 years. Marilyn married Arnold Freeman in 1984. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church. Marilyn was preceded in death by both parents, one grandson Steven Paul Goff, aunts Clorine Horn, of Chickasha, and Georgia Becker, of Duncanville, TX, and uncle Henry Smith, Panhandle, TX. Survivors include her husband, Arnold, of the home; daughters Chris Skidmore, of Tuttle, and Kellie Fitzgerald, of Weatherford; stepdaughters and sons-in-law Rhonda and Jimmy Gray, of Cyril, Trina Kyllo, of Portland, OR, and Loretta and Henry Boyd, of Chickasha; grandchildren Andrea and Ethan Skidmore, of Tuttle; Breanna and Preston Fitzgerald, of Weatherford; Michael and Crystal Bogle, of Germany; Mitchell Bogle, of Chickasha; Marshal and Blake Gabriel, of Chickasha; Nathan, Brian and Tianne Taylor, of Oregon; and Jobin and Jeron Dionne, of Oregon; and great grandchildren Kaleb Bogle, of Cyril, and Logan Bogle, of Germany.
