© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma December 11, 2012 Dortha Mae [Neal] Foust Rush Springs: Dortha Mae Foust, 86, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 in Duncan. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec.11, 2012, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. John Hauser and Pastor John Youell officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs. Dortha was born Saturday, April 24, 1926 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Homer Allen and Mary Mildred [Waldby] Neal. She was a long time resident of the Rush Springs area. Dortha graduated from Fairview High School. On July 20, 1946. Dortha married Frankie Leroy "Roy" Foust in Chickasha. He preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2004 after 58 years together. Dortha loved to crochet, work jigsaw puzzles and solve puzzle books. She carried out a card ministry, sending cards to those who were ill or in need of encouragement. Dortha was an avid "texter". She enjoyed sending text messages to her family and friends. Dortha loved her Lord and telling others about Jesus. Survivors include three daughters, Mildred Kimbrel and husband Mel of Wichita, Kansas, Linda Jarvis of Rush Springs, and Janet Foust of Duncan, eight grandchildren, Darryl McLaughlin and fiancée Kelly Russell of Springfield, Missouri, Matt Jarvis and wife Julie of Muldrow, Nathan Jarvis of Thornton, Colorado, Dr. Thomas Jarvis and wife Jaymi of Durant, Jeffery Foust of Duncan, Billinda Shook and husband Scott of Kansas City, Missouri, Kim Peacock of Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Abigail Aaron and husband Sonny of Thornton, Colorado. 14 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson on the way, sister, Jewel Ransford of Napa, California, many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Dortha was also preceded in death by her son, Leroy Foust, grandson, Christopher Foust, three brothers, Albert, Ira, and George Neal. Pallbearers will be: Mel Kimbrel, Darryl McLaughlin, Matt Jarvis, Nathan Jarvis, Dr. Thomas Jarvis, and Jeffery Foust. Honorary bearers will be: Scott Shook, Sonny Aaron, Dana Edge, and Roy Crow.
