Foster, 77, of Chickasha, OK will be held at Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha, Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. Jim Sheerer and Steve Parker will officiate. Burial will follow at Rush Springs Cemetery. Billy E. Foster was born Wednesday, April 18, 1928 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to the late Lloyd Clayton Foster and the late Winnefred Neva [Brown] Foster. He died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Billy married Alma [Agee] Foster on November 22, 1947 in Rush Springs, OK. Billy attended elementary school at Little Rush and graduated from Fairview High School in 1946. He lived in the Rush Springs and Chickasha area most of his life. He was a machinist for Badgett Machine Shop for 43 years. Billy loved all kinds of ball games such as football, basketball and baseball. He also loved to fish, especially with his grandchildren. Billy enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. He was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha. Survivors include wife, Alma Foster of Chickasha, OK; daughter, Neva Faye Moretz & husband Jim of Indianhoma, OK; son, Billy Don Foster & wife Camellia of Duncan, OK; eight grandchildren, brother, Weldon Foster & wife Fern of Chickasha, OK; sister, Winnefred Hastings & husband Glenn of Lawton, OK; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, L. C. Foster, Thomas Oliver Foster and Wayne Foster; and one sister, Foylee Wiles. Pallbearers are Billy Don Foster, James Moretz, Jerry Hair, Darvin Foster, Ron Hastings, Rick Hastings,. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Winstone, Vernon McElhaney, Ronald Davidson and Billy Patton. Memorial contributions may be made to the doner's choice. |
March 2018 Alma F. [Agee] Foster Alma Fay Foster, 87, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 in Oklahoma City. Alma was born on Tuesday, July 29,1930 in West Fork, AR, to Henry J. and Euria [Kindrick] Agee. Alma grew up around Rush Springs where she went to school and graduating from Rush Springs High School. Later, she would marry Billy E. Foster on November 22, 1947 in the same town she grew up. Alma has lived in Chickasha for 60 years, where she was a longtime member of Southern Oaks Chruch of Christ. She was also Former Grady County Deputy Sheriff, before going to work for First National Bank of Chickasha. After over 20 years of service, Alma finally retired from the bank. In her spare time, Alma enjoyed sewing, shopping, bowling, and visiting with her friends. She also loved to travel, some of her favorite places were Branson, Nashville, and the Lake of the Arbuckles. Above all else, Alma loved to have family gatherings where she could be surrounded her loved ones and full of joy. She was preceded in death by husband, Billy, and, her parents and a grandson, Lantz Darin Foster. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 16, 2018, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Brant Stubblefield and Forrest Buxton officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, Oklahoma. |

Street, Duncan, died today in the University Hospital, Oklahoma City. He was born Aug. 2 in Duncan and his parents named him Lantz Darrin. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Billie Dawn, of Duncan; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy E. Foster, 100 Basin Street, Chickasha, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Arnold, Sr., 1424 Minnesota, Chickasha. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Calloway-Smith Funeral Home, Rush Springs. |
