© Swearingen Funeral Home Seminole, Oklahoma December 2008 Clinton Odell Hayden Flowers Clinton Odell Flowers, 86, of Shawnee, Okla and former longtime Seminole resident, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 in Mont Belvieu, Texas. Mr. Flowers was born September 29, 1922 in Atoka County, Oklahoma to General Andrew Jackson and Alice [Hayden] Flowers. Mr. Flowers came to Seminole from Choctaw, Oklahoma and had lived in Seminole over 42 years. most of which time he was a Lineman for O G & E Electric Co. but was retired at the time of his death. Clinton married his first wife and Mother of his children Mary Ruth [MaGuire] Flowers in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 7, 1950. She preceded him in death on July 3, 1999. He married Dorothy Carter on April 27, 2002 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Clinton is survived by his wife, Dorothy Flowers of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Two sons, Russell Flowers of Coppel, Texas and Mike Flowers of Edmond, Oklahoma, his daughter Vicki Hope of Mt. Belvieu, Texas.rnEight grandchildren, Chris Flowers, Clinton Wayne Flowers, Charles Flowers, Sarah Flowers, Heath Hope, Tatum Stone, Houston Hope and Harrison Hope, and Nine great grandchildren, Amulek Stone, Ammon Stone, Taylynne Stone, Helaman Stone, Peytyn Hope, Haydyn Hope, Kassidi Hope, Triston Flowers and Taylor Flowers. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Ruth Flowers, son, Richard Flowers and grandson Harrison Hope. Casket bearers will be Clinton Wayne Flowers, Chris Flowers, Charles Flowers, Larry Hope, Houston Hope, Heath Hope. Honorary Bearers will be Mike Flowers, Russell Flowers, Richard Flowers and Harrison Hope. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 12:30 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole and Burial following at the Rush Springs Cemetery in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. with Father Basil Keenan, O.S.B. officiating.
