Milton Haywood Evans Sr

Last rites for M.H. Evans, 78, who had lived near Rush Springs for many years, were held Tuesday afternoon in the chapel of Brown Funeral home in Chickasha with Rev. Roy Rowlan officiating. Interment was in the Rush Springs cemetery.

Mr. Evans died Monday morining at hishome east of town. He had lived in Oklahoma since 1913.

Mrs. Jim Taylor sang 'Sunrise Tomorrow' and 'God Will Take Care of You.'

Miss Ethelyn Anbderson was at the organ.

Pall barers were Joe Mosley, Howard Dryden, Willie Dryden, Alva Tims, Dan Harrison and Rossler Henton.

Survivors are: His wife, Dollie Evans; four sons, W.E. Evans, of Rush Springs; R. D. Evans, Oklahoma City; Milton, Rush Springs; and J.J. Evans, Vinita; three daughters, Mrs. Harry McDonald, Chickasha; Mrs. R.C. Barker, Marlow; and Mrs. L.H. Sumrow, Kingsville Texas; and two brothers, Tom Evans, Dallas, Texas and Will Evans, Mineral Wells, Texas."
