Helen Naomi Dorman

Mrs. Helen Naomia Dorman, 75, who had been ill about one year, died at her home, 206 East Cheyenne, on Saturday at 3:25 pm.

She was born in Sulligent, Ala., on November 9, 1882. Her marriage was to W. F. Dorman on July 21, 1918, at Rising Star, Tex. She had lived in Marlow for 25 years and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of the home address; seven sons, Rufus and Walter, Rush Springs; Henry, Tucson, Ariz.; Alton, Los Angeles, Calif.; Clyde, Pampa, Tex.; Vernon, Borger, Tex., and Charlie of Marlow; and six daughters, Mrs. Gertie Livengood and Mrs. Bertha Adams, both of Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Myrtle McKay, Marlow; Mrs. Effie Mills, Skellytown, Tex.; Mrs. Bessie Malone, Pampa, Tex., and Ivie Dorman, Los Angeles, California.

Also three brothers, W. O. Watson and Redden Watson of Marlow, and Leona Watson of Rising Star; and one sister, Mrs. Inez Self, Seymour, Texas. And 70 grandchildren and 80 great grandchildren.

Services were held in the Pentecostal Church of God, Seventh and Nabor, on Monday at 2:00 pm conducted by Rev. C. E. VansCoy, pastor. Burial was in the Rush Springs Cemetery with arrangements by Callaway~Smith Funeral Home.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Lillie "Tye" Flavilla [Richey] Dorman Funeral services for Lillie "Tye" Flavilla [Richey] Dorman, 97, of Rush Springs, Okla., were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the Church of Christ in Rush Springs. Daryn Brantley, Arlyn Brantley, and Bryan Brantley all officiated.

Lillie "Tye" Flavilla [Richey] Dorman was born April 4, 1906, in Tillmon County, Oklahoma Territory, and died on Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in Marlow, Okla.

Burial was in Rush Springs Cemetery, Rush Springs, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow.

Troy Dean Dorman

Troy Dean Dorman was born on September 10, 1935 in Marlow to Walter and Esther [Cook] Dorman of Rush Springs.

He married the love of his life, Jimmie Lou Roach, of Marlow on September 3, 1955 in Duncan. They were married for 61 years.

Mr. Dorman lived a Christian life, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren followed in his footsteps. He was proud of each and every one of them. He loved them all dearly.

He was well respected in his community. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

When he was 20 years old he worked in the oil field and later he formed his own business Dorman Lease Services that later became Troy's Oil and Gas. He invented the soft pressure valve to drop soap sticks in to the well resulting in increased production in the well.

Mr. Dorman went home to be with his Lord on April 23, 2017.

He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Wendle Dorman, his parents; sister, Leona Clavson; and four brothers, Delbert Dorman, Bobby Dorman, Glen Dorman, and Winford Dorman.

Graveside Services will be Friday, April 28th at 2:00 pm in the Rush Springs Cemetery with Dick Jones and Eric Dorman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Donna Kay Dorman

Donna Kay Dorman, 3 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hosie Dorman died at 10:30 pm Sunday after an illness of pneumonia.

Services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 at the Pentecostal Church with Rev. Spencer Ab--chtone conducting, assisted by Rev. Joe Madewell. Burial was at Rush Springs.

Donna Kay, the only child of the Dormans, was born Oct. 1, 1944 in Marlow. Her mother is the former Miss Wanda Gamball. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Gamball and Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Dorman, all of Marlow.

Jimmy Dean Dorman

immy Dean Dorman, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 62. He was born July 23, 1956 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Troy and Jimmie Lou [Roach] Dorman.

He was raised in Rush Springs and later moved to Chickasha. He worked for Triad Energy as a field supervisor for 15 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Troy Dorman and a brother, Chris Dorman.

Jimmy is survived by his children: Chad Dorman and wife, Heather; Leah Hayes and husband, Michael; and Ryan Dorman and wife, Rachelle; Mother, Jimmie Lou Dorman; Brother, Foy Dorman Sister, Tina Jones and grandchildren: Leah Cheyenne McConnell, Skyla McConnell, Kaydence Hayes, Madalynn Dorman, Mariah Page, Avery Grace Dorman and baby on the way, Luke Aaron Dean Dorman.
