© Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Marlow, Oklahoma Saturday, March 20, 1976 Benjamin Harrison "Ben" Coleman Ben H Coleman Rites Monday Marlow- Ben Harrison Colman 87 of Marlow, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness. A graveside funeral services will be held at 11am Monday at the Rush Springs Cemetery, Conducted by Rev Harold Almon, Assistant pastor of the Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow. Coleman was born Sept 17 1888 in Leavenworth, Ind, he had lived in Rush Springs or Marlow since he was 19. Coleman married Hattie K Moore in July 3 1910 at Rush Springs, She Died Fed 12 1972. A Retired farmer, Coleman was a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Leon Coleman of Sterling and Fred Coleman of Oklahoma City, Two Daughters, Mrs Helen Dalson of Norman and Mrs June Preuss of Euless, Tex and 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Burial will be at the Rush Springs Cemetery at 11 am under the direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home |
Crawford County Democrat English Crawford County Indiana February 1972 Hattie Kansas [Moore] Coleman Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Kansas Coleman, former Rush Springs resident were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow. Officiating were Rev. R. T. Parritt and Rev. Harold Almon. Mrs. Coleman, 82, died Saturday, February 12, 1972 in a Marlow hospital. She was born February 23, 1889, in Collins, Texas and married Ben H. Coleman in Rush Springs on July 3, 1910. She had lived in Marlow for four and one half years prior to her death. Burial was in Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Callaway-Smith Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Harold of Marlow, Leon of Fletcher and Fred of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Helen Dalston of Marlow and June Preuess of Kirkwood, Mo; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Simmons, Sulphur Springs, Tex; and Mrs. J. Bennett, Dallas, Tx; one brother, Walter Moore of Oklahoma City, and 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. |
