June 2017 Pearl Ellen [Miller] Bratcher Pearl Ellen Bratcher, 85, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 in Marlow. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, July 3, 2017, at the First Assembly of God in Rush Springs, with Rev. Mike Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services. Pearl was born Monday, December 14, 1931 in Rush Springs, to Tommie and Julia (Compton)Miller. She lived all of her life in Rush Springs and attended school at Rocky Ford. On October 30, 1948 she married Gene Wesley Bratcher at the First Assembly of God Church in Rush Springs. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2016 but until that day she enjoyed keeping him in line. Throughout her life she loved remodeling houses and travel trailers, as well as working in her flower beds, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, Laren Bratcher, Gary Bratcher, a daughter, Gaylene Bratcher, 2 brothers, Roy Lee Miller, Clinton Miller, 2 sisters, Laveta Chadwell, Betty McKay. |
