RUSH SPRINGS ~ Service for Evelyn Adams, 80, a longtime resident of Rush Springs, who died Monday, June 10, 2002, in Wichita Falls, Texas, is pending with Callaway~Smith~Cobb Funeral Chapel of Rush Springs.

RUSH SPRINGS ~ Graveside service for Evelyn Dolores Adams, 81, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of Rush Springs, who died Monday, June 10, 2002, in Wichita Falls, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Rush Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Callaway~Smith~Cobb Chapel of Rush Springs.

Jack Vaughn Adams

Jack was born in Electra, Texas, to John Floyd and Helen [Farkas] Adams.

Jack lived in the Rush Springs area most of his life and attended Rush Springs School. He moved to Colorado in 1984 and returned to Rush Springs in 1992. Jack was an avid football fan. He loved the OU Sooners and the Denver Broncos.

He spent most of his days looking through family photos and helping his sister take care of the horses, dogs and cats around her farm.

Jack read his Bible everyday and had completely read the Bible from cover to cover almost fifty times. Jack was active in his church where he enjoyed singing and occasionally playing the air guitar. He was a member of the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church.

Ronald Eugene Adams, Jr

Funeral services for Ron E. Adams, Sr., 51, of Chickasha are pending with the Ferguson Funeral Home.

Adams was born Sept. 16, 1953 and died Jan. 23, 2004.

He and Jane bought the store and operated the Zerger Appliance and Electric Store, where she was the bookkeeper for many years.

No funeral services are scheduled for Ronald Eugene Adams, Sr. 51, of Verden, Okla. Adams chose cremation.

Ronald Eugene Adams, Sr., was born Sept. 16, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and died on Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at his home in Verden.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
