April 18, 2000 Edythe S. [Covey] Wood Edythe S. Wood, 87, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born September 10, 1912, in Wainwright, Alberta, Canada to Ethel and Ben Covey. She graduated from Oklahoma College for Women, Chickasha, in 1938, with a bachelor's degree in French and English. During World War II, she served as a cryptographer for the War Department in Washington, D.C. |
