Mary Edith [Jones] Taylor
February 12, 1923 ~ January 5, 2006


Mary Edith Taylor, age 82, died Thursday, January 5, 2006 at an Oklahoma City hospital after a short illness.

She was born February 12, 1923 in Wichita Falls, TX to Sander B. and Lula Bertha [Helms] Jones and grew up in the Wichita Falls area.

She came with her family to Mustang in 1959 from Randlett, OK and moved to OKC in the mid sixties.

She had lived in Tuttle the last thirty years and had worked many years at L & S Bearings.

She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands Bill Stubblefield, Orin Argo and George Taylor, as well as four brothers Ewing, Robert, Scotty, S. B., two sisters Billie and Novella.

Survivors include two sons Don Stubblefield and wife Barbara ofTuttle, Dan (Corky) Stubblefield of Lane, OK, three daughters Pat Davis and husband Tim of Pattonville, TX, Carolyn Mirani of Waco, TX and Jackie Wanzer and husband Bill of Harrah, OK. Also by thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one brother Floyd Jones of Wichita Falls, TX.

Services will be held at 10 am on Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Glory Promise Center in Newcastle, OK with interment following at Rosehill Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.
