Martha Marie [Lancaster] Stelting

Funeral service for Martha Marie Stelting, 82, of Lindsay, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2009 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Martha Marie Stelting was born November 9, 1926 near Gotebo, Oklahoma the daughter of Sim Lancaster and Agnes Rudell [Wrey] Lancaster.

She died April 20, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Martha lived in Chickasha 30 years ago and had lived in Alex and Lindsay for over 20 years.

She and John D. Stelting were married July 6, 1946 in Cordell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2005.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Martha was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Lindsay.

Martha was also preceded in death by: 1 son: Jimmie Stelting, 1 sister: Dorothy Smiley.

Survivors include: 4 children: Linda Caldwell of Lindsay, OK, Ricky Stelting and wife Gail of Chickasha, OK, Johnnie Stelting and wife Lori of Colorado Springs, CO, Ronnie Stelting and wife Gay Lynn of Ardmore, OK, 1 brother: Bill Lancaster and wife JoAnn of Port Orchard, Washington, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
