Alberta Letha "Birdie" [Jarnagin] Prentiss Stamper

Funeral service for Alberta "Birdie" Letha Stamper, age 83, of Chickasha will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Alberta "Birdie" Letha Stamper was born December 9, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Jack and Christina [Stumpf] Jarnagin. She died Friday, July 28, 2006 in Chickasha.

She was preceded in death by : two husbands, Albert Lafon Prentiss, Sr. and Jim Wallace Stamper; one son: Albert Lafon Prentiss, Jr., and 17 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: two sons: Vernon Eugene Prentiss of Bethany; Jim Stamper of Chickasha; three daughters: Truvella Ward of Chickasha; Eureka Stamper of Chickasha; Doris Huff of Cyril; 18 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
