Vianna Drucella [Haws] Snodgrass
Mrs. Snodgrass Funeral Held Last rites for Mrs. Vina D. Snodgrass, 68, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home by Waldo Proffit, assisted by Rev. Preston Cotham. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Music for the service was furnished by Charlene and Betty Joyce Gibson, who sang, "Rock of Ages," "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" and "Beautiful River". Mrs. C. D. Gibson played the organ accompaniment.
Mrs. Snodgrass died suddenly early Monday afternoon at her home, 616 North Tenth Street. She had been a resident of Chickasha about four years, coming here from Comanche County. Her husband, J. T. Snodgrass, died here slightly more than a year ago.
Surviving members of the family include her mother, Mrs. Martha Haws; a son, Leslie Snodgrass of Duncan, and two daughters, Mrs. C. A. Sutherland of Lawton and Mrs. O. K. Goodrum of Seagraves, Texas.
Flower girls for the service were: Betty Joy Gibson, Mrs. J. W. Burt, Dorothy Jean Trusty, Mrs. Johnny Trusty, Mrs. V. D. Harned and Wanda Trusty. Pallbearers included; C. D. Gibson, H. C. Harmon, Oscar Owens, Pete Lister, J. M. Warren and C. P. Mitchell.
