Shellie Siebert
LOCAL BOY DIES AT BORGER WELL Shellie Siebert, aged 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Siebert of this city, was asphyxiated by gas fumes at a well where he was working in the Borger, Texas, field late Wednesday evening, according to word received by his family here. The body is to be returned to Chickasha for burial.
While exact details of the tragedy could not be learned today by his relatives here, it is presumed that young Siebert was trapped in the derrick and unable to escape the fumes.
He is a graduate of Chickasha High School and moved to Borger about four months ago.
He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Fred, Theodore and Howard, and a sister, Auby.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed today.
