SANKEY FUNERAL SET FOR FRIDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Matt Sankey, age 38, wife of Sheriff Matt Sankey, are to be conducted from the First Baptist Church here Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will occur in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The service will be conducted by Dr. J. W. Bruner, pastor of the First Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Sankey was a member. Rev. Bruner will be assisted by Rev. H. P. Haley. Active pall bearers are to be members of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the honorary pall bearers will be members of the Royal Neighbors Lodge, of which Mrs. Sankey was a member.

The Rebekah and Royal Neighbors will have charge of the concluding part of the service and seats will be reserved in the church auditorium for members of the lodges.

Mrs. Sankey succumbed to peritonitis at a local hospital early Wednesday morning following a brief illness.
