FUNERAL SERVICE CONDUCTED TODAY Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Payne, age 27, who died Wednesday evening at the family residence, 712 South Ninth street, were held this morning in the Anderson chapel, conducted by Rev. Clifford B. James, pastor of the First Christian Church.
Mrs. Payne died from the effects of typhoid fever. She is survived by her husband and three children.
