Evelyn U. Orange Monday, September 29, 2003, in the Church of the Living God, PG&T with Rev. Delbert Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Orange died September 24, 2003, at home following a lengthy illness. She was born April 8, 1918, in Chickasha, OK. She was a lifelong resident of Chickasha. She was married to Shirley Orange June 19, 1935, in Chickasha, he preceded her in death. She was employed by Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Program, Langston University; a cook with Chickasha School System and for the Chickasha Cotton Gin. She was a member of the Church of the Living God PG&T. Mrs. Orange attended the Chickasha Public Schools. Survivors include: 4 daughters: Frances Everidge of Wichita, Kansas, Shirley Stewart and husband Leroy of Lawton, Bobbie Dixon and husband Joe of Fayetteville, N.C. and Joyce Orange of Washington, D.C.' 2 sons: Sammy Orange and wife Sherry of College Station, Texas and Danny Orange and wife Deon of Kansas City, Kansas; 1 sister: Margie Jones of Chickasha, sister- in-law: Hazel and husband Horace Smith of Cache, OK, brother-in-law: Retus Orange of Ada, OK; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Fletcher-Jefferson Chapel Sunday 12 p.m. - 6 p.
