Patrick H. O'Dowd
Pat H. O'Dowd, 68, of 520 North Third, died at 5 pm Wednesday at his
home.
Mr. O'Dowd was born March 23, 1879, in Louistown, Mo. He came to
Chickasha 30 years ago from Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a retired oil
field worker and railroad employee.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Friday at the Church of Christ
at Eighth and Frisco, with Waldo Profitt officiating. Burial will be
at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Emma; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Angel and
Mrs. Grace Jennings of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Annie Isom of Kansas
City, Mo., and three brothers, John W. of Edgar Springs, Mo., Everett
O'Dowd of Bakersfield, Calif., and William O'Dowd.

Funeral services for Pat H. O'Dowd, 68, of 520 North Third, were held
at 3:30 pm Friday at the Church of Christ at Eighth and Frisco. Services
were conducted by Waldo Proffitt and J. D. Rothwell. Burial was in
Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Mr. O'Dowd died Wednesday afternoon at his home.
A quartet composed of Roy Finley, Taylor Finley and Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Paddack, sang "Life of a Flower,' "Sweet Bye and Bye' and "Does Jesus
Care."
Pallbearers were Homan E. Welborn, W. T. Elliott, Arthur Ladyman, Ora
Field, Bill Johnson and Haskell Tuck.
He is survived by his wife, Emma; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Angel and
Mrs. Grace Jennings of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Annie Isom of
Kansas City, Mo., and three brothers, John W. of Edgar Springs, Mo., Everett
O'Dowd of Bakersfield, Calif., and William O'Dowd
