A. T. McCREARY Last rites for Andrew Thomas McCreary, 78, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the chapel of the Chickasha Funeral Home by Rev. Robert M. Alexander, pastor of the Church of Christ. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Music for the service was furnished by Mrs. Denver Scurlock and Mrs. Dick Hopkins, who sang, "God Will Take Care of You", "Where We'll Never Grow Old" and "Beautiful River". Mrs. Orville Young played the organ accompaniment.
Mr. McCreary died about 6 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home, 1701 South Sixth Street.
For the past five years he had made his home in Chickasha. He had lived in Oklahoma since 1907.
Surviving members of the family include his wife, Mrs. Ada McCreary; three daughters, Mrs. Andrew S. Sims of Chickasha, Mrs. Jewel Williams of Galveston, and Mrs. Clyde Boulding of Oklahoma City; two sons, Ralph and Jimmy McCreary of Houston, Texas; a grandson, Billy Williams, at home; and three brothers, Surgeon and Jud of Ross City, Texas, and Johnny of Wichita Falls.
Pallbearers for the services were: D. W. Baker, Hiram Henline, W. E. Meadows, Jack S. Davis, Earl Northcutt and Steve Hallmark.
