© Whinery~Huddleston Funeral Service Lawton, Oklahoma Sunday, December 20, 2015 Mary Estella "Stella" [Basler] Kiser Mary Estella "Stella" Basler Kiser, a long-time resident of Elgin, Oklahoma died Sunday, December 20, 2015 in her home after a long battle with health issues. Stella was born December 3rd, 1938 and grew up in Leedey, Oklahoma. She married W. Wayne Kiser on October 17, 1959 and after a short courtship, Wayne swept her off her feet and honored her until her death. Stella was a member of Country Road Baptist Church in Sterling, Oklahoma. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Stella loved cooking, baking, and collecting Santa Clauses and cookbooks. She also enjoyed traveling with Wayne on bus trips and being around her friends and family. Stella was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Evelyn Basler, a sister Lamona Bruner and a brother Dale Basler. She is survived by two brothers: Fred and Jerry Basler of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Bill and Connie Basler of Leedey. Two children: Bryan and Kathy Kiser of Alexandra, Virginia and Dolan and Dana Kiser Pederson of West Des Moines, Iowa. Four grandchildren: Bradley and Jamie Kiser, Brennen and Amanda Kiser, Zach and Jess Pederson and Kayce Pederson, and one great grandson, Aiden Kiser. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church in Fletcher. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service. |
