Graveside services for Bernice Kell, 86, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2004, in Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha.

Bernice Kell was born Dec. 9. 1917, and died on Thursday, April 1, 2004.

Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

Graveside service for Bernice Kell, age 86, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saurday, April 3, 2004, in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Britt officiated.

Bernice Kell was born the daughter of Fred Leroy Underwood and Nina Onstott Underwood on December 9, 1917, in Bradley, Oklahoma. She died on April 1, 2004, in Chickasha.

Bernice attended Meridian Schools and graduated from Meridian High School.

She moved to Chickasha with her family at an early age. After graduation, she worked for Oklahoma National Bank as a teller for fifteen years. In September of 1946, she married Charles Kell. Bernice was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Leroy and Freddie Underwood, husband, Charles Kell, and daughter, Sherrell Ann Kell.

Survivors include her niece and husband, Deanna and John Bond of Colorado; niece, Tina Spearman of Chickasha; nephew and wife, Gary and Lil Underwood of Arizona, and several cousins, including Glenda Baker of Mustang.

Services were under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
