December 22, 2015 William Lee Ingle William Lee Ingle Of Fletcher, Oklahoma Was born August 13, 1933 in Chickasha, OK to Anderson Lee and Maude [Cox] Ingle. He passed away surrounded by his loving family at his son's home in Cyril on December 22nd at the age of 82. Bill graduated from Fletcher High School and attended Oklahoma A & M before having to come back home to work on the farm. He married Glenda Walker in 1955 and to this union, four children were born. Bill worked as a cattle rancher for several years all over Montana, Colorado and New Mexico before returning to Oklahoma. He went to work in facilities maintenance at University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He then moved back to Cyril and built a home. Bill went to work at Hollytex then later went to work for facilities maintenance at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha where he retired. He was married to Lorraine Ingle for several years. Bill loved working cattle and enjoyed calf roping, even competing in some local rodeos. He also loved going trout fishing in Red River, NM. Bill was also an avid reader. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church where his faith became strong. He had an unwavering belief in his salvation and he often shared the comfort he found in Jesus with people he came in contact with. Bill's greatest comfort and joy was the love of his family. He is survived by: 1 son and his wife- Mark and Julie Ingle Cyril, OK 2 daughters and their husbands- Cathy and Chris Woodward Cyril, OK Robin and Billy White Gonzales, LA 12 grandchildren- Phillip and Victoria Woodward; Courtney Woodward and fiancée, Kyle Weaver; Dustin and Monica Rhodes; Blake and Brooke Rhodes; Trevor and Jennifer Ingle; Megan Ingle, Amanda Dahmer, Eric and Deanna Dahmer; Joey Dahmer, Logan and Kathryn Payne; Alex and Jewell Gooden; Tristan White 15 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way 1 sister and her husband- Charlotte and Richard Rice Manford, OK 5 nephews and their wives Many great-nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by: His parents 1 daughter- Connie Lee Ingle Rhodes. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26th at 10:00 A.M. at the Calvary Temple in Cyril with Pastor Kip Ackley officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Chickasha under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are: Dustin Rhodes Trevor Ingle Blake Rhodes Phillip Woodward Joey Dahmer Eric Dahmer The funeral home will be open on December 24 from 9:00 A.M. -6:00 P.M. It will not be open Christmas Day. |
