Tommie Joe "Susie Alice" [Bowen] Hurley

Funeral service for Tommie Jo (Susie Alice) Bowen Hurley, 74, were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Tommie Jo (Susie Alice) Bowen Hurley was born October 29, 1931 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma the daughter of John Henry and Susie Lavina [Thompson] Bowen and died September 19, 2006 in Roseburg, Oregon.

Mrs. Hurley graduated from Alex High School. She and Louis Kenneth Hurley were married October 29, 1950 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by: husband: Louis Kenneth Hurley; parents: John and Susie Bowen; brothers: Pete Bowen, Billy Bowen, H. L. Bowen, Berlen Wayne Bowen and Jimmy Ray Bowen; baby sister: Mary Kay Bowen.

Survivors include: one daughter: Patty Davis and husband Dave of Chickasha; grandchildren: Jason and Heather Filipi of Sutherlin, Oregon; Carla and Daniel Moreno of Anadarko, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren: Danielle and Ashley Moreno of Anadarko; three brothers: Johnny Bowen and wife Elizabeth of Friend, Oklahoma; Andy Bowen and wife Rowena of Chickasha; Virgil Bowen of California; one sister: Anna Lee King of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and life long friends.

Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
