© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, July 7, 2005 August 29, 1933 ~ July 5, 2005 Funeral service for Betty Haughton-Christian, 71, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Betty Haughton-Christian was born August 29, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma the daughter of Earl and Dessie [Hankins] Watkins and died July 5, 2005 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Betty lived in Chickasha most of her life. She and Fred Haughton were married August 27, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1975. She then married Bobby Christian December 3, 1991, and he preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Barbara Pierce; two grandchildren, Lisa Hunter and Jacob Saxton; and two sisters, Evelyn Pryor and Verna Watkins. Survivors include four daughters, Debbie Hunter of Rush Springs, Fredia Glass and husband Sheldon of Chickasha, Shirley Bagley and husband Terry of Oklahomas City, and Linda Hodson and husband Dan of Indiana; one son, David Haughton of Lawton; one sister, Mona See; one brother, Bob Ingram; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and special friend: Alvin Healton. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
