© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma 15 February 2005 Funeral service for Stella May [Cunningham] Grisham, 95, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Stella May [Cunningham] Grisham was born May 1, 1910 in Chickasha, Oklahoma the daughter of Emmett and Mittie Ann [Jenkins] Cunningham and died Friday, August 12, 2005 in Chickasha. She and D. H. Grisham were married March 9, 1929 in Chickasha. They lived and had a dairy farm in the Hawkins and Amber area. They retired in 1964 and moved to Chickasha. They spent their retirement years traveling and fishing across the United States. Stella was a member of the Bittercreek Home Demonstration Club and the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: Husband: D. H. Grisham in 1978; her parents; seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include: two sons and their wives: Claris and Jean Grisham of Chickasha and Jack and Linda Grisham of Chickasha; grandchildren and their spouses: Gary and Dorothy Grisham; Debbie and Cecil Brewer; Dena and Bill Keates; Beth and Tracy Cranton; Janice and Jim Wright; Lisa and Ron Wilcox; 16 great grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
