GLENN RITES TUESDAY Services for James Alfred Glenn, 92, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Chickasha Funeral home. Mr. Glenn, who had been in failing health for the past year, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday in his home in Alex. He was a resident of Grady County for the past 22 years, having lived in the Verden community for 17 and moving to Alex in 1942. A farmer, Mr. Glenn had been retired for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include his wife, Pearl; four sons, George of Anadarko, Robert of Victorville, Calif., Frand and John of Alex; four daughters, Mrs. W. M. Ragland of Chickasha, Mrs. R. J. Walker of Victorville, Mrs. W. T. Kiser of Alex, and Mrs. Raymond Giddens, of Cuba; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery under the direction of Chickasha Funeral home." |
© The Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, 13 May, 1974 Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Pearl Glenn, 95, of Alex, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Elam, assisted by Eddis Edward, officiating. Mrs. Glenn was born June 27, 1878, in Paint Rock, Tex. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church. She died Sunday in Grady Memorial Hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. E. S. Cook of Chickasha; Mrs. Eula L. Giddens of Virginia Beach, Va., and Mrs. Edna Walker of Victorville, Calif., three sons, Robert Glenn of Hisperia, Calif., Frank of Alex and Jack of Oklahoma City; one sister, Mrs. Jay Cromeans of Austin, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral Home. |
