© The Chickasha Star Chickasha, Oklahoma December 6, 1955 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Brown Funeral Home chapel for Irvin E. Gay, Alex who died at 7:45 p.m. Dec 6 in Chickasha. Mr. Gay was born Sept 14, 1874 near Shreveport, La., and had been a resident of Grady county since 1917. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Beth Crawford of Parker, Ariz., Mrs. Katie Martin of Chickasha, Mrs. Ertha Gibbs of Colton, Calif., and Mrs. Ethel Nelson of Ruidosa, N. M.; two sons, Pleas Gay of Chickasha and Ueal Gay of Alex; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home. |
