Mary Jane [Pope] Ferguson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Ferguson, 86, 4133 NW 12th, Oklahoma City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Brown's Funeral Home with Eulys Russell, assisted by Doug Lawyer, officiating.

Mrs. Ferguson was born Jan. 30, 1887 in Wood County, Tex. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She married William M. Ferguson, Oct 23, 1904 in Paoli, Okla. He preceded her in death Aug 2, 1960.

Mrs. Ferguson lived in Chickasha from 1908 to 1960 moving to Oklahoma City to live with a daughter.

She died Sunday in an Oklahoma City nursing home.

Survivors include; one son, William C. Ferguson of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Goodwyn of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Lucile Hardiman of Ross, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Annie Thompson of Pioneer, La.; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Rose Hill cemetery under the direction of Browns Funeral Home.

William Claud Ferguson

William Claud Ferguson, 90, of Phoenix, a retired carpenter, died Aug 26, 1998. He was born in Byars, Okla. and was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his daughters, Margaret Jeanette Fendley, Edna Louise Beyer, Linda Virginia Sandoval, Judith Kay Ertel, Sharon Sue Glick, and Karen Lou Eichorn; sons John Sherman Spoon, William George Ferguson and Earl Roy Ferguson; sister Mildred Fern Goodyn; 26 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Services 2 p.m. Sunday, Messinger Mortuary and Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale

Jeanne L. [Hardiman] Santo Domingo

Jeanne H. Sando Domingo passed away peacefully in her home on April 25th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1929, she married Teodore Santo Domingo in 1948, a flight navigator in the Philippines. Stationed in the Philippines and Rome, Italy, she gave birth to two sons. Moving to San Francisco in 1954 after her husband's untimely death, Jeanne started a new life for her family and began a successful accounting career that spanned four decades

. She was passionate in her love of literature, art, music, and most of all, supporting her sons goals and pursuits. For many years, Jeanne was active in The Lamplighters in front and behind the footlights for many of their Gilbert & Sullivan operetta productions. Later, she enjoyed working in the Speech Arts Association.

Selfless in giving to her family and friends, she was a devoted caregiver to her mother, Lucile (Cindy) Hardiman, who passed away in Oklahoma City on August 31, 1995. Lucile is also remembered for love of life and people. Jeanne extended her care giving to her beloved friends including Dick Mayfield, Richard Barulich, and Alice Jacobs, all preceded her in death. Her eldest son, Claude Santo Domingo, preceded her in death; she is survived by her son Diego Santo Domingo and many relatives and friends who remember her determination and love.

A memorial gathering will be held this Sunday, May 5th at 2 p.m. at Lake Merced Church of Christ, 777 Brotherhood Way, San Francisco, CA 94132. (650) 755-1560.
