© Chickasha Star May 18, 1967, page 8a, col: 1 Minnie Lee Deskins Services for Minnie L. Deskins, 1112 Dakota, were held at 2 p.m. May 13 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with John Morris officiating. Mrs. Deskins passed away May 11, at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born January 6, 1881 at Spanish Fort, I. T. and lived in Chickasha since 1918. She was married to J. W. Deskins. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are one son, Boots, of Chickasha and one daughter, Jewell Newcomb of Chickasha and 2 grandchildren; one sister, Eva Eubanks, Ringling. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home. |
