Chickasha, Oklahoma 20 April 2001 Jack Wilson Boswell Graveside services for Jack Wilson Boswell, 83, of Ninnekah, will be held on Friday, April 20, 2001, at 1:30 p.m. in the Rose Hill Cemetery with Eddie Charlson officiating. Jack Wilson Boswell was born December 25, 1917, in Ninnekah, the son of George Washington Boswell and Martha Alice Paige Boswell. He died April 17, 2001, in Ninnekah. Jack attended and graduated from Ninnekah Public Schools. On June 12, 1940, Jack married Ruby Pearl Spencer in Caddo County. Jack worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company for 24 years. He retired in 1980. He was also a farmer and rancher who loved the land and cattle. Jack has many friends and loved ones who will miss him greatly. Jack is preceded in death by both parents, six brother, two sisters and a son, Gene Paul Boswell. Survivors include his wife, Ruby, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Alva and Larry Charlson of Lindsay, OK; three grandsons and their families, Eddie and Anita Charlson, Caitlin and Savannah of Norman, OK, Justin and Kim Boswell, Taylor and Lauren of Avon, CT, Scott and Shari Boswell of Gainesville, Texas; two granddaughters and their families, Sondra and Brandi Fallon of Lindsay, OK, and Jacquelyn and Arnold Johnson of Chickasha; and two great grandsons and their families, Duff and Tanya Snow, Deven and Alyssa of Cement, OK and Dirk, Alisha and Derek Snow of Chickasha. |

Chickasha, Oklahoma 28 May 2007 Ruby Pearl [Spencer] Boswell Funeral services for Ruby Pearl Boswell, 85, of Ninnekah will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2007, in the Ninnekah United Methodist Church. Ruby was born in Choctaw, Oklahoma on December 16, 1921, the daughter of Jesse Loren and Alice Viola Bourlon Spencer, the 5th of 13 children. Our heavenly Father welcomed Ruby into His loving arms on May 28, 2007. Ruby graduated from Chickasha High School in 1940, and soon after, on June 12, 1940, married Jack Wilson Boswell in Caddo County. They loved each other deeply and were married for 61 years before he preceded her in death on April 17, 2001. She farmed and ranched with her husband Jack on the family farm located south of Chickasha. She also worked for Pet Milk Inc. from 1957 until she retired in 1974. Ruby was a devoted Christian woman and servant of Christ. She attended the United Methodist Church of Ninnekah and served in many different areas of ministry there over the years. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Jack; son, Gene Paul; five brothers; and two sisters. Ruby is survived by daughter Alva Charlson and husband Larry, of Lindsay, Oklahoma: five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Ruby was a deeply loved child of God and will be greatly missed. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
