Mary Mable Sturgell Baggett was born Oct. 8, 1911, and died on Tuesday, Aug.19, 2003. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma 20 August 2003 Funeral service for Mary Mable Sturgell Baggett, 91, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Mary Mable Sturgell Baggett was born October 8, 1911, in Binger, Oklahoma, the daughter of John and Ada (Newman) Long, and died August 19, 2003, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mrs. Baggett lived in Chickasha most of her life. She was a retired nurse's aide and had worked in nursing homes. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Baggett was preceded in death by: first husband, Luther G. Sturgell; second husband, Harry Baggett; 1 son, Tom Cook in 2002. Survivors include: daughter-in-law: Marcella Cook of Chickasha; 5 grandchildren: Bill Cook and wife, Kathy, of Terrell, Texas, Tommy Cook and wife, Darla, of Mesa, Arizona, Carol Sellers and husband, Randell, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Gary Cook and wife, Marilu, of Chickasha, Marsha Camp and husband, Chuck, of Chickasha; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
