© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma 27 January 2006 Olan Doyle Albright Funeral service for Olan Doyle Albright, 96, of Pocasset, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Pocasset. Olan Doyle Albright was born May 28, 1909 in Chattanooga, Oklahoma the son of James Robert and Jodie Steel [Guyton] Albright and died January 25, 2006 at his home in Pocasset. Mr. Albright farmed until 1950 when he went to work for Pet, Inc. retiring in 1961. Mr. Albright and Stella Bush were married July 19, 1931, and she preceded him in death February 27, 1979. He married Vernia Riley November 23, 1990 in the home of David Riley. They moved to Pocasset in 1990. Mr. Albright was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pocasset. He was also preceded in death by: Parents 1 son: Richard Doyle Albright 1 daughter: Donna Teal 1 stepson: Gerald Riley Brother: Guyton Albright. Survivors include: Wife: Vernia Albright of the home 1 son and daughter-in-law: Arlen and Carolyn Albright of Chickasha Grandchildren: Steve Albright and wife Sharon of Mequon, Wisconsin, Dusty Albright and wife Tera of Chickasha, Misti Howie and husband Joe of South Orange, New Jersey Shane Farley of Dallas, Texas; Stepchildren: Sue Turner and husband Gene of Pocasset Sharon Franks and husband Dave of McAlester, Daisy Sprowls and husband Jerry of Pocasset, Jerry Kennedy and husband Jerry of Amber, David Riley and wife Denice of Amber, 2 sisters: Zemmie Cagle of Fresno, California Jo Emma Glenn of Tulsa, Host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren Nieces, nephews and other relatives. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Pocasset Building Fund. |
