© Chickasha Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Friday, June 13, 1919 Mrs Susie Tibbetts of Chickasha died Early Saturday morning from burns which she received when she threw kerosene on a fire in ordere to rekindle it. The kerosene exploded covering her with the oil and her clothes were burned from her body within a few momwnts. She rushes ito the yard calling for assistance and her husband did everything possible to save her but she lost consciousness and never regained it again. She is survived by her husband W. S, Tibbetts an employee of the Rock Island railroad, three children and a brother of Dallas. Funeral services were held Saturday and burial in the cemetery at Pocasset. |
