© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, December 21, 2005 December 20, 1973 ~ December 20, 2005 Funeral service for Travis Dale Murray, age 32, of Chickasha will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2005, in the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Bryan Jarvis will officiate. Travis Dale Murray was born the son of Jack Murray and Tina Long Murray on December 20, 1973, in El Reno, Oklahoma. He died on December 20, 2005, in Chickasha. Travis grew up in Pocasset and graduated from Am-Po High School in 1992. He attended Redlands Community College in El Reno for one year. He married Kelli Kuykendall on July 31, 1993, in Pocasset. After their marriage, they moved to Ft. Smith, Arkansas for five years. In 1998, they moved back to Chickasha. He began working for Chickasha Manufacturing in 2002. Travis loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and playing other instruments. He enjoyed coaching his boys' baseball and football teams. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Harriet Long, grandfather, J. C. Murray, and grandparents, Raymond and Betty Chandler.
Survivors include: wife: Kelli Murray of the home, son: Seth Brayden Murray of the home; son: Blaine Douglas Murray of the home; mother & husband: Tina & Earl Changler of Pocasset; father & wife: Jack & Cathy Murray of Rogers, Arkansas; sister & husband: Angela & Mike Merrell of Pocasset; brother & wife: Chad & Shawna West of Elgin; sister & husband: Jennifer & Michael Kelley of Rogers, Arkansas; brother: Tom Murray of Rogers, Arkansas; sister: Jackie Murray of Rogers, Arkansas; grandmother: Barbara Murray of Porum; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. |
