Ray Henry Kortemeier
November 19, 1934 ~ June 18, 2020


Graveside services for Ray Henry Kortemeier will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 25, 2020 in the Pocasset Cemetery in Pocasset, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Ray Henry Kortemeier of Chickasha, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 in his home at the age of 85. He was born on November 19, 1934.

Ray married Jimmie Mowdy on August 1, 1958.

Ray had worked as a truck driver for Sequoyah Mills in Anadarko, OK and a foreman for Maremont [Gabriel] and a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Slavie Kortemeier; and his wife Jimmie Kortemeier on July 25, 2019.

Survivors include his sons, Ricky Kortemeier and Rodney Kortemeier; grandchildren: Kaci Crocker, Kelli Kortemeier, Kassandra Ray Morris; great grandchildren: Candom Crocker, Madison Ray Kortemeier, Blaydon Morris and Hunter Morris.
