© Bill Merritt Funeral Service Bethany, Oklahoma August 21, 2010 November 11, 1918 ~ August 21, 2010 Eilain Knox, 91, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2010. She was born on November 11, 1918 in Pocasset, Oklahoma. Eilain was an accomplished artist and loved drawing and oil painting. She also enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Eilain was a member of the Cherokee Hills Baptist Church where she taught the Senior Womens Sunday School Class for many years. She was proud to receive her Masters in Education degree. Eilain taught 6th math and science until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett Lee Knox, her parents and siblings. Eilain is survived by her brother-in-law, Sterling Knox, and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Cherokee Hills Baptist Church with interment following at 1:00 p.m. at the Pocasset Cemetery in Pocasset, Oklahoma.
