© Sevier Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday, April 10, 2012 October 28, 1942 ~ April 8, 2012 Funeral for former Ninnekah resident, Janice Marie Hixon, 69, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Pocasset. She died Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Lawton. Janice Marie Hixon was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Kinta, the daughter of Cecil and Syble Hammons Riley. Burial will be in Pocasset Cemetery under direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha. Janice graduated from Pocasset High School. She worked at Ninnekah Public School as a kindergarten teacher's aid, bus driver and school librarian. She also served as city clerk for the town of Ninnekah. She retired several years ago and moved to Lawton. She was preceded in death by: parents, Cecil and Syble Riley; grandparents, C.O. and Esther Hammons; and three brothers: T.H. Riley, G.C. Riley and Tony Riley. Survivors include: three children: Sandra Hixon, Richard Hixon and Raymon Hixon; two grandchildren: Evan Hixon and Hunter Hixon; three sisters: Betty Crawford, Esther Simmons and LaVonda Arbuckle; two brothers: Ronnie Riley and Michael Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews. |
© El Reno Tribune El Reno, Oklahoma May 2016 December 23, 1960 ~ May 19, 2016 Memorial services for Sandra Lee Hixson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Pocasset, with burial following in the Pocasset Cemetery. Services are under direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. Sandra died May 19 at her home in Lawton. She was born Dec. 23, 1960, in Chickasha. She grew up in the Ninnekah community and graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1979. Sandra worked for Huckby, Fleming and Frailey Law Firm and Bynum and Glass CPA Firm, both of Chickasha, Lisa Somers and Dana Smith CPA Firm, William Barnes CPA Firm and Don Smith CPA Firm of Lawton. Sandra was a member of First Baptist Church in Ninnekah. She is survived by her brothers, Richard Hixson and Raymond Hixson, both of Lawton. |
