William "Bill" Harmon
February 15, 1926 ~ October 5, 2004


Graveside service for William "Bill" Harmon, 78, of Chickasha, will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Pocasset Cemetery.

William "Bill" Harmon was born February 15, 1926 in Bonham, Texas the son of Benjamin and Mable [Fair] Harmon and died October 5, 2004 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

He was raised and lived in the Chickasha area most of his life. Mr. Harmon worked as a landscape gardener.

He and Mattie McConnell were married March 24, 1945. She preceded him in death September 9, 1975.

Mr. Harmon was also preceded in death by one son, Gerald Harmon and one brother, Johnnie Harmon.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley and Lundell Lee of Pocasset, Sheila and Ron Peaden of Chickasha, and Patsy Riley of Chickasha; four sons, Don and Rita Harmon of Chickasha, Rick and Sharon Harmon of Chickasha, Ronnie and Alice Harmon of Blanchard, and Frank Harmon of Maysville; five sisters, Lucille Willmouth of Ada, Lenora Bennett of Chickasha, Bulah Patrick of Chickasha, Sharon Rose of Texas and Jackie Sue of Texas; one brother, Eugene Hill of Texas; 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Pocasset Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
