© El Reno Tribune El Reno, Oklahoma October 2020 January 15, 1949 - October 22, 2020 Kenneth Eugene Dodd was born January 15, 1949 to Eugene and Viola [Sweet] Dodd in Chickasha, Oklahoma and passed away October 22, 2020 surrounded by his family in El Reno, Oklahoma. Kenneth attended El Reno High School. He worked at Evergreen Mills and was a "jack of all trades", he was always willing to step up to help wherever it was needed. Kenneth was an avid fisherman, any chance he had to be at the lake fishing with his brother, he was there. He loved balloon fishing for big game fish. He also enjoyed whittling, painting canvases, and drawing. He also enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He had a heart for others and genuinely cared for everyone he met. Above all else, family was most important to Kenneth; he loved being with them no matter what they were doing. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Poncho. Kenneth is preceded in death by his Father, Eugene Dodd; brother, Glenn Dodd; and sisters Sheila Warren, Geraldine Stokes, Arline Davis. He is survived by his mother, Viola Brewer; sisters, Patricia Williams, and Jevita Stokes; daughters Karrie Dodd and husband Nas Ba, Heather Dodd, Sherry Toothman and husband Carris; son Brian Dodd and wife Shannon; and numerous grandchildren. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Kenneth will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Pocasset Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the funeral home Thursday, October 29 from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. |
