LaVonda May [Riley] Arbuckle

Funeral service for LaVonda May Arbuckle, age 64 of Pocasset will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Pocasset.

LaVonda May Arbuckle was born the daughter of Walter Cecil Riley and Syble Marie Hammons Riley on March 27, 1950 in Pocasset, Oklahoma. She died on June 20, 2014 in Chickasha.

LaVonda grew up and lived around Pocasset all of her life. After graduating from Amber-Pocasset High School, she immediately went to work. During her life, she worked for the Chickasha Mattress Factory, Ceco Doors in Oklahoma City, Walkers Convenience Store, and Riley's Short Stop. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pocasset.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Syble Riley; brothers, T.H., G.C., and Tony Riley; sister, Janice Marie Hixon; and grandson, Dakota Burnes.

She is survived by daughter, LaVon Dutton; sisters, Betty Crawford and Esther Simmons; brothers, Ronnie Riley and Michael Riley; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Riley, Lelana Riley, Darlene Riley, Jeannie Riley, and Bonnie Updegraff; brothers-in-law, Duane Crawford and Floyd Simmons; two grandchildren, Devin Chilton and Tristin Dutton; many nieces and nephews; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Jean Hammons.

Interment will be in the Pocasset Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
