Carl Henry Neumann

Funeral services for Carl H. Neumann, 72, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2002, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Gene Ellis will officiate.

Carl H. Neumann was born Nov. 28, 1929, in Deer Creek, Okla., and died on Thursday, March 21, 2002, in Chickasha.

Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Carl H. Neumann, 72, of Chickasha, were held Saturday, March 23, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gene Ellis officiating.

Carl H. Neumann was born November 28, 1929, in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, the son of Oscar & Mary [HARPER] Neumann. He died Thursday, March 21, 2002, in Chickasha.

Carl grew up in Deer Creek, attending Deer Creek public schools and graduating from Deer Creek High School. After high school he entered the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War.

Carl married Patsy Ann Ellis on September 3, 1965.

He was employed as a tool pusher in the oil fields for many years, having been employed with Parker-Verson and Cochren and for Johnson and Bates, retiring in 1982. He also farmed most of his life, and really enjoyed spending time with the cattle. Carl and Patsy purchased the TumbleWeed Club in 1987, where he was presently employed at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy, of the home; one son, Jeff Neumann, of Chickasha; ten sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marcketa and June Godbehere, of California, Gene and Wanda Ellis, Peggy Stephens, Geneva Murphy, Nellie Bell Schiffman, William Melvin and Susie Ellis, Dwayne and Bonita Ellis and Bobby and Cheryl Ellis, all of Chickasha, Mary Katherine and Bill Bachellor, of Dallas, Texas, and Shirley Marie Norman, of Newcastle.

Interment was held in the Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
