Funeral for Oneta M. Wood, 82, Ninnekah, will be held at 10:30 am
Thursday, September 3, 1998, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
She was born April 3, 1916, in Wilson, the daughter of Richard Neeley
and Fannie [Davis] Thaxton, and died Monday, August 31, 1998, in Ninnekah.
She and Jess Wood were married March 17, 1951 in Anadarko.
Mrs. Wood was a member of Full Gospel Church.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandy Brown.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Ed and Pat Brown of
Chickasha, Dewey and Sharon Brown of Rush Springs; two granddaughters,
Susan Patton and Brooke Bratcher; two grandsons, Clay Brown and
Brannan Bordwine; two great grandsons, Craig Patton and Blayne Bordwine.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
