Donald R. Whitener
Donald R. Whitener age 68, born in Ninnekah, OK, April 18, 1937 died Tuesday, March 21 at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Don is survived by his wife Marion, and six children: Donnita Woodward, Nova Van Scyoc, James Hope, Cathy Cruzan, Nick Hope and Roanne Lamb. He has fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Don was employed by Hope Lumber Company as a salesperson for the last 13 years.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 24th at 10 a.m. in Cathedral of the Hills Assembly of God church, 1600 S.E. 15th Street, Edmond, OK 73013. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday in Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, Oklahoma.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Missions Fund at Cathedral of the Hills Assembly of God.
Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
