Ninnekah, Oklahoma October 2019 Henry Sullivan Sr Henry Sullivan, Sr., 70, passed away on October 12, 2019 in Ninnekah. Henry was born on February 18, 1949 in Stafford, Virginia to Calvin and Dorthy [Norfolk] Sullivan. Henry worked construction and did all kinds of work around town. He also helped his father work on the farm. Henry enjoyed working in his garden and doing the yard work. You would often find Henry sitting on the front porch with a cold beer in one hand and waving at everyone that drove by with the other. In his spare time, Henry liked to watch NASCSAR, Bonanza, and any kind of westerns, but especially anything with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood. Henry enjoyed cooking on the grill and listening to old country music. Henry was a part of the Eagles Lodge. He was outgoing and was friends with everyone! He would always have a joke to tell. Most of all, Henry enjoyed spending time with his family and extended family, especially the grandkids. Henry is survived by his wife, Donna Sullivan; children, Henry Sullivan, Jr and wife Tiffany and Tamra [Sullivan] Whitlow and husband Mickey; grandchildren, Robert Sullivan, Henry Wayne Sullivan, Bryce Sullivan, Brandon Sullivan, Travis Sullivan, Nicole Sullivan, Shelbie Sullivan, Savana Balcom, and Chris Balcom; siblings, Edward Sullivan, Calvin Sullivan, William Sullivan, Dorthy Johnson, Frances Dodd, and Rose Samuels; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorthy Sullivan; father, Calvin Sullivan; and Calvin Sullivan Jr., Charles Sullivan, Joshua Sullivan, Alice Bowman, Virgie Whaleing, Cora Miner, and Virginia Ann Sullivan. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Ninnekah, OK. Interment to follow at Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, OK. Services are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, Ok. |
